Fourth Co-Creation Workshop in Leuven

On November 28 and 30, 2024, our Pilot City Leuven organised its fourth and final co-creation workshop to co-evaluate the impact of VARCITIES in Leuven. 48 participants gathered from four different stakeholders groups: residents, users, the general public, and organizers. They specifically reflected on VS1, the Olevodroom, and evaluated its strengths and weaknesses. The Olevodroom was assessed on its success as an accessible meeting place, in co-creation and ownership, community building, and promoting sports and exercise.
Based on the collected input, a letter was written to the municipal council expressing the desire to continue the project, which led to the formal approval for the continuation of an additional summer season for Olevodroom!
