Gzira organises a City-to-City Exchange Webinar

End of November, our Pilot team of Gzira (University of Malta) engaged in two different online sessions, ith its Partner Cities and local authorities in Malta to present its activities within VARCITIES: Szombathely (Hungary), Ixelles (Belgium), Maltese Western Regional Council, Maltese Northern Regional Council, and the Comune di Sezze (Italy).

The Visionary Solutions of Gzira were presented and the University of Malta collected feedback about their replication potential into the cities/regions present during the discussions. The University of Malta also proposed to explore future collaborations and Discussions also revolved around similar expeirneces of the Partner Cities, and the challenges they faced (if any).

Their insights and collaboration are crucial as we move forward with the evaluation of the Gzira VS implementation. 

Collaboration between municipalities and public organisations from different member states underscores VARCITIES’ commitment to innovation and sustainability. We’re excited about the dialogue our Pilot Cities are making making together with their Partner Cities about co-creating healthier cities, and look forward to continuing our journey of innovation and partnership!
