As part of the Erasmus+ project WildSkillsEU, 18 international students and 6 accompanying staff from Portugal, United Kingdom and Hungary visited the historical garden of Villa Revedin Bolasco and learnt the approaches and methodologies implemented in the Castelfranco Venento pilot site for the VARCITIES project. As the focus of the students’ studies and interests are biodiversity conservation and nature management for sustainable future environments, getting to know the VARCITIES objectives and aims, helped them to acknowledge the importance of the relationship between human wellbeing and green areas. This has been a successful example of cross-learning experiences between different European projects.
