2nd Co-Creation Workshop in Dundalk

November 2021

On the 25th of November 2021, our Pilot City Dundalk carried out their 2nd Co-Creation workshop online with 10 attendees. The purpose of this round of multi-stakeholder workshop is to present the updated Visionary Solutions to be implemented within the courtyard area of the County Library/ Museum Quarter in Dundalk. In total 3 Visionary Solutions will be implemented in the Creation of an Outdoor Learning Hub.

The workshop was attended by local council members, community groups, and local business leaders. It began with the introduction of the project and the three visionary solutions where they presented how the feedback from workshop 1 was integrated into the updated proposals. Furthermore, the session included a moment for a final replication and discussion on the future impact of the VARCITIES Visionary Solutions and health & well-being platform. During the discussion with stakeholders, accessibility for cultural events and a dedicated area for pedestrians and cyclists were deemed of high importance.

Dundalk is currently moving into the implementation phase where their Visionary Solutions will begin to take shape on site. Stay tuned for more development from our pilot city Dundalk.
