Novo Mesto’s VS2: new forest trails at the Pilot site

Our Pilot City Novo Mesto has started the work for its Visionary Solution 2: Creating sustainable forest trails

In the forest surrounding the facilities of the sports and recreational park ŠRC Češča vas, construction of a sustainable forest trail is underway. This new 1 km-long trail will provide reduced disturbances to fauna as well as damage to soils and vegetation. It will be equipped with information stations that provide visitors information about the factors of a healthy lifestyle.

The route will also be equipped with sensors for tracking and detecting the movement of visitors for counting and analysis of the visitor use.
