Stakeholder meeting on VS4

On 29th June 2021, the Municipality of Novo Mesto organised a stakeholder meeting on VS4 to present the conceptual design of the common platform through which the facilities of the future Češča vas Sports and Recreation Park will be managed and communication with the users of the facilities will be carried out.

The objective of the meeting was to collect feedback from key stakeholders and users of the park, such as representatives of sports clubs that will use the facilities and the representatives of the equestrian centre that is vital part of the Češča vas Sports and Recreation Park.  Special attention was paid to representatives of vulnerable groups. The meeting was attended by representatives of the regional Association of the Blind and Visually Impaired and the regional Association of Paraplegics.

The event took place in person at the Development centre Novo mesto, in the immediate vicinity of the Češča vas Sports and Recreation Park. It was attended by more than 15 participants.

Stakeholder meeting on VS1 and VS2

On 13th July 2021, the Municipality of Novo Mesto organised a second stakeholder meeting on VS1 and VS2, to discuss the rehabilitation of the degraded area and greening with indigenous plant species as well as the creation of the educational area that will inform visitors about the plant and animal species found in the surrounding area.

In the dialogue with the stakeholders Novo Mesto wanted to identify the best possible route for the planned trim track that will also function as part of a pedestrian connection between different parts of the recreation area of the Češča vas Sports and Recreation Park.

The event took place in person at the Municipality of Novo mesto and was attended by experts from the Slovenian Forestry Institute and the Slovenia Forest Service, as well as municipal employees and external architects who are involved in the design of recreational forest trails.
