Standardisation Guidelines: CWA 18237:2025

VARCITIES has officially published the CEN Workshop Agreement (CWA 18237:2025) “Visionary nature-based actions for health, well-being and resilience in cities”, developed through CEN-CENELEC with the support of the Horizon Booster Services.

This new European standardisation document transforms our Visionary Solutions  development process, into practical, structured guidelines for cities, planners, and policymakers. It provides a framework for designing, implementing, and evaluating good practices to improve urban health and well-being, while enabling replication, funding access, and long-term impact.

By setting common criteria and fostering a shared understanding, the CWA bridges the gap between innovation and implementation, offering municipalities across Europe a robust tool to reimagine their urban futures.
